Facilitating technical and logistical needs of
touring, rental, and in-house productions, including equipment, staff,
hospitality, transportation. Creating and
overseeing the budget of all shows.
Editing, oversight and final approval for all
contracts of purchased artists.
Main contact and oversight of event calendar.
Budgeting and purchasing of all equipment for all
departments.
Hiring and management of technical staff.
Liaison for contractors, engineers and architects
during restoration and capital improvement projects. Organization and
pre-bidding of capital improvement and
small repair projects. Have overseen following projects:
o Building-wide air conditioning installation, had no previous air
conditioning.
o New gallery and box office created from old storefronts. Roof
replacement and repointing of all exterior bricks.
o Regular repair and repainting of historic interior.
o Upgrade of lighting board, dimmers and cabling; sound system with
digital board and line array.
o Addition of line sets and replacement of soft goods, decking and pit
cover.
Overseeing general maintenance of
building and equipment. Oversight for staff for in-house maintenance and
contact
for all vendors for larger
maintenance projects.
Compiling theaters yearly operating
budget.
Researching and creating rates used for
rentals, produced and purchased shows. Creating spreadsheets using these
numbers to determine break-even
points for each event.
Creation and regular updating of rental
contract.
Maintenance of computer network
consisting of 10-plus computers and Windows server. Maintenance and
programming
of website, ticketing system,
e-mail and phone system. Researching and purchasing of all new software
and equipment.
Designed and built closed-circuit
television system for viewing of stage, house, lobby and all entrances
to the building to
assist in running of shows and
improve security.
Responsible for oversight of
general safety, OSHA, building code and fire marshal compliance.
Related Skills:
Extensive experience with computers. Have designed, installed and
maintained various networks running all variations of
Microsoft and Apple operating systems, including building and setting up
full computers. Have some programming
knowledge, having programmed in various Basic and Visual Basic languages.
Well versed in Word, Excel and Access,
including special setups and programming.
Well versed in various lighting systems including conventional and moving
light. Able to troubleshoot and repair most
problems in both conventional and moving light. Have varying levels of
knowledge and experience with many different
lighting boards. Have extensive lighting design training and experience.
Have strong understanding of the working of both analog and digital sound
boards and all related equipment. Have expert
understanding of system flow and setup. Have basic knowledge and
understanding of acoustics. Able to troubleshoot and
repair most problems. Can do basic sound mixing.
Have extensive experience in scenic design, engineering and construction.
Accomplished carpenter for stage, commercial and
home applications. Have extensive training and experience in theatrical
rigging. Can do hand drafting and CAD along with
good working knowledge of structural engineering. Have working knowledge of

commercial and home experience with electrical systems including low and
high voltage, telephone,
